Pre-Code.Com Site News for February 2017
Alright, first thing’s first. I mentioned offhand that some images were missing from the site. There’s a long story behind this, and it’s not worth going into, but somewhere around 90 reviews on the site from 2012 and earlier have lacked their images for the last month or two. Therefore, some of my spare time in the future– when it is available– will be re-reviewing a lot of older movies for the site. This will take a lot of time, and I will post you when the new reviews are posted. But just in case you’re browsing and come up with something that looks a bit ugly, it may be that way for a while.
I’m still in the process of moving– I’ll finally be in California at the end of February. In the meantime, I’m juggling a lot of things, so thanks for sticking around.
TCM is doing their 30 Days of Oscar celebration this year in alphabetical order, which I have little doubt in no small part can be attributed to the organizing powers of Microsoft Excel. The pre-Codes are pretty rare, as they usually are this month, but there’s still some classics worth catching if you can.
