Sorry this post is a few days late; would you believe my dog ate it? No, not the post, but my new pups managed to chew through my laptop cord and leave that for me to discover over the long holiday weekend.
August was kind of crazy for me taking care of my kids before school started and then school starting– my youngest started kindergarten this year!– but I still have some fun stuff planned for the rest of the year. Cheers!
Pre-Code on Criterion Channel in September 2024
Criterion Channel added this month Rebels at the Typewriter which covers movies, mostly pre-Codes, that had woman screenwriters. While this is no means definitive, there are some gems here, including Red Headed Woman, Bed of Roses and Sadie McKee. Links below go to my reviews.
