Pre-Code.Com Site News for May 2017
Things are going alright here. I managed, within a very short amount of time, to pick up not one but two part time librarian jobs. Yay! Money! Sweet money I can send straight to Warner Archive!
Since I’m still trying to find childcare, things are touch and go with the site. I’m hoping once I get more-regular care for my kid, I’ll be able to sit down and really revise a few areas that need some gardening, as well as reinvest time in a few old reviews.
TCM this month is a bounty of riches, thanks in no small part to Clark Gable being the Star of the Month. Every single one of his pre-Code films is being shown this month, which is amazing. There’s also an evening of Busby Berkeley musicals, some Doug Fairbanks Jr., plus a few showings on Memorial Day weekend. Get your DVRs ready to go!
Patreon Bonus for May
Big news — Starting this month, if you’re a Patron of my Patreon, you will get videos of me drinking that TCM Wine Club wine you hear about all the time and talking about it– at least two videos this month. I hope they don’t suck.

Congratulations on your jobs. I’ve been looking for a library job–page, circulation desk, anything–to supplement my income, but the offered schedules don’t work around my shitty-paying, full time, work from home, stress-inducing call center job. Such is life. Give me a library job any day.
