Ah, the fall! What a wonderful time of year. I’m on my third month of living in Colorado, and now I can finally transition away from having to wear shorts. I have also, for the first time in five years, gotten a tan thanks to all the dog walking I do. It’s… weird.
Let’s talk pre-Codes! September around the country there are plenty of screenings of the super rare Letty Lynton still popping up, and you (yes you) should check it out if you haven’t.
On TCM, it’s a pretty sparse slate of films, but there is a day of Greta Garbo films on the 18th, including a few of her lesser played ones. Worth checking out for sure.
Also, in October, I will have a few events in LA that Kim and I are attending to promote the book and gab about pre-Code; more details on that in next month’s post.
