Wow, July flew right by! It’s been a busy summer in my house, including us adopting two new Miniature Pinschers who are named Dipper and Mabel. They are very cute, but very time consuming.
Also, I am still in Germany, and there is still not air conditioning, so I lay in front of a fan, pretending to be dead, most days.
Regardless, I think summertime is the best time to watch pre-Code movies, and with Summer Under the Stars in August, there’s a lot of great choices. (It should be noted that Harlow’s Beast of the City strikes me as a particularly apt summery choice; Red Dust would be too if there were showing it this month.)
